Q: Does WebTraf charge me for an Ezi-Web account and what are any conditions on my account and payment?
A: WebTraf's fees via Ezi-Web are typically paid by the location provider or the Reseller. Once created, your Portal access remains accessible to you for up-to 18 months after your last internet usage is recorded at any Ezi-Web providing location. When active you can log into your Ezi-Web portal via www.ezi-web.com but you will not be able to go online online via your portal at an Ezi-Web providing location (except to access free services or your information as available from within the portal). Once you and or the location have enabled special access privileges, you have sufficient a balance of credits in your account and selected Pay As You Go (PAYG) or pre-purchased a plan, as per any terms as set for that location you will then be able to access the internet. 'There is no minimum account life with Ezi-Web however if an account is not used for 18 months it will be closed and the balance forfeit and any residual balance will be taken as a closure fee by WebTraf Pty. Ltd.'.
Q: Is WebTraf the owner of Ezi-Web and if so what does WebTraf do and what is it's origin?
A: WebTraf is an Australian owned and run Company. Yes, Ezi-Web is a partnership between the provider of an Ezi-web location the Ezi-Web Resellers (these also provide support for you and there locations) and WebTraf Pty. Ltd.. WebTraf Pty. Ltd. Is the creator and Wholesaler of Ezi-web. WebTraf hosts and manages the Ezi-Web operation and its distribution and ongoing development. WebTraf also controls the Internet accounts and the collection of online payments, billing and commissions.
Q: How does Ezi-Web work?
A: Ezi-Web enables public access to the internet via wired or wireless facilities available at each location. You can read more about this in the 'About Ezi-Web section at www.ezi-web.com at www.ezi-online.com
Q: If relevant, how do I know how many megabytes or time I have used?
A: Ezi-Web provides a usage meter of time and megabytes used. You can view all your previous usage details for any current deal from within your private part of the Ezi-web account portal, this can be logged into from anywhere on the web at www.ezi-web.com.
Q: Can I access emails or my VPN service?
A: Any send and/or receive email processes can be performed directly from your email browser i.e. MS Outlook or similar. If you use a VPN to access files or work, Ezi-Web should allow you seamless access and typically without any settings being altered or added.
Q: Do I have to alter any settings on my computer to access the Ezi-Web Internet at a participating location?
A: Your Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) needs to be set to 'Obtain IP Address Automatically' and 'obtain DNS server address automatically' finally ensure you have no proxy settings . Nearly all laptops have this already set automatically by default,.
Q: What if I have trouble connecting?
A: If you have any problems connecting to the network please check your settings and correct them, if they are in order restart your computer and try again before you seek further assistance.
Q: “Does Ezi-Web guarantee me Internet access?”
A: “No” Ezi-web provides Internet access and billing systems we work hard to ensure our systems can give you the best possible experience (given the service access available at the various locations) we have little control beyond that, but we also know how important Internet access can be and we do our best to help you where we can.
